answers to the most common questions about lashes

What are lash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are used to enhance the length, fullness and curl of your natural lashes. They are applied by a technique called “isolation.” In this process one of your natural lashes is isolated, then an extension then is adhered to it. This is a key factor in preventing any possible damage to your naturals.

How long does the application take?

An application can range from 1hour and 30 minutes, up to 2 hours and 15 minutes, depending on the desired style.

How long do they last?

Lash extensions can last up to 4-6 weeks along with our natural lash shedding cycle, although FILLS are highly required every 2-3 weeks to maintain the fuller, desired look. (Anything after 4 weeks is considered a new set)

What is a fill?

A fill is replacing lashes that have naturally shed, and placing new extensions on your new growth. A fill is required every 2-3 weeks.

Do they damage your natural lashes?

When executed with proper technique, lash extensions are 100% damage free. A trained technician will never apply a heavy lash to a natural that wouldn’t be able to handle it. If applied correctly and properly, they are safe and do not ruin the health of your natural lashes. As long as you follow proper aftercare, such as, being sure not to rub your eyes, tug or pull on the extensions, they will not put your natural lashes in jeopardy.

Are there alternatives for sensitive eyes?

The lash extensions themselves are hypoallergenic, changing to a sensitive glue is an option as well.

Are there different styles of lashes of lashes that can be applied?

Each set is custom tailored to accommodate your natural lash health as well as eye shape. You and your lash tech will choose the shape is most flattering for your eyes.
